It is truly an exciting time to be engaging with Microsoft Dynamics CRM! Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 was a
significant release for our customers with a broad range of new capabilities
including RoleTailored dashboards, a new level of Outlook integration, expanded
business process management through guided dialogs and a brand new performance
management module - just to name a few! Microsoft Dynamics CRM is moving
to a rapid innovation cadence where additional capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (both
Online and on-premises) are delivered in releases targeted for the Spring (Q2)
and Fall (Q4) of each calendar year. The first of these releases will be the Q4
2011 Service Update.
To ensure our customers and partners have advanced
visibility on upcoming capabilities, we have published a Release
Preview Guide. This document provides details of new features and
enhancements to be delivered (summarized in the diagram below). The Release
Preview Guide for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Q4 2011 Service Update is
available here.
As we look towards the Q4 2011 Service Update and
over the longer term, Microsoft is
committed to delivering on our "Dynamic Business" vision and will continue to
invest in delivering a solution that:
- Drives maximum user productivity
- Delivers business insight and collaboration for every role within an
organization - Enriches the core sales, service and marketing capabilities of the
organization - Provides a flexible and scalable business solution framework
For customers who are seeking longer-term roadmap
guidance we provide a Statement of Direction whitepaper shortly after each new
release so that you can understand the broad areas of investment in Microsoft Dynamics CRM over a 6-24
month timeframe.
We look forward to continually unveiling the extensive investments in our
product that drive business value for your organization!
